On the 22nd of november, 13 (!!) VRD skaters played against the girls of Barockcity Roller Derby and six of them played in their first bout ever! Let’s not beat around the bush – we lost big time, 228:99. Big congratulations to the winners and thank you for giving us an opportunity to learn and get better, it was great fun after all! On sunday the 23rd we went to Karlsruhe to visit the RocKArollers for a friendly scrimmage and this time the odds were on our side 316:111 for VRD, thank you RocKArollers for having us! In the end we are super proud of our six former newbie skaters and very much looking forward to a promising spring season 2015! Check out the pics in the gallery!
