Hey you, yes YOU! 🛼✨ Have you ever wondered what roller derby is and what it feels like? Now’s your chance to find out! We are looking for: Skaters, referees and NSOs (non-skating officials who help with timekeeping, scoring points, penalties, etc.).

Our open day is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of roller derby. Meet the skaters from Vienna Roller Derby, learn all about this exciting full-contact sport, and even try it out for yourself. No previous experience necessary – just bring comfortable clothes and a sense of curiosity.

📍 Location: 1140 Vienna (You will receive further information such as address etc. from us after registration)

IMPORTANT! Participation only if you register via our Google form until September 28th. You must be at least 18 years old to sign up.

We welcome all women and people who do not identify within the gender binary to join the club’s newbie class as skaters. We also invite everyone of all genders who is interested in learning to roller skate (or already know how) to join VRD as referees. Any person who does not wish to roller skate is welcome to join VRD as a Non-Skating Official (NSO). During team practice games, the necessary skills are learned and different positions can be tried out. If you simply want to learn to roller skate without playing roller derby, you are welcome to join us too!
